Submission to the Health and Disabilities Committee - Inquiry into the public works project to construct the Queensland Children's Hospital
Our more than 45,000 financial members work across a variety of settings from single person operations to large health and non-health institutions, and in a full range of classifications from entry level trainees to senior management. The vast majority of nurses and midwives in Queensland are members of the QNU. As the construction of the new children’s hospital will affect some of our members, the QNU is very interested in all aspects of the project, however in this submission we only make general comments on workforce planning, service delivery and risk management.
