If you are an overseas nurse/midwife and wish to migrate to Australia, contact the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council Incorporated (ANMC) for information on the process of applying for a skills assessment. Nurses and midwives must apply to the relevant Nursing and Midwifery Regulatory Authority in the state/territory they wish to work in for registration. All registered nurses and midwives must be registered prior to commencing work in Australia.
