You couldn't be in better hands
A new national multi-media campaign was launched in August to make politicians sit up and listen to Australia’s nurses and midwives!
The QNU has joined forces with its interstate counterparts to launch a new campaign promoting nurses and midwives and their role as champions for quality health and aged care.
The nationally co-ordinated Australia’s nurses and midwives: You couldn’t be in better hands campaign celebrates the dedication and professionalism of nurses and midwives in every setting and across all levels of care.
The first part of the Better Hands campaign is all about you – the wonderful nurses and midwives of Australia.
The ANF Better Hands team have produced a two minute cinema ad, a one minute TV ad and a radio commercial, as well as posters and recruitment brochures, to focus the amazing work of nurses, midwives and assistants in nursing.
In the future we will work with the community to highlight some of the problems in health and aged care and, more importantly, the leadership role nurses and midwives can take in developing and implementing solutions.
But the strength and success of this campaign hinges on the support of the nursing and midwifery workforce across the country, so get involved!
