Ramsay Health Care wants to defer negotiations for a new agreement until March 2013.
Ramsay is refusing to increase annual leave and professional development for nurses and midwives and won’t guarantee any wage rise beyond the first year.
Ramsay Health Care has grown revenue more than ten-fold over the past decade to $3.7 billion in 2011. But dedicated nurses and midwives at the heart of Ramsay’s profitable business are not receiving the certainty of improved wages and conditions they deserve.
Nurses and midwives want a fair share - rally with them and show you care.
