2008-2009 QNU Audit Report

The financial report of the Queensland Nurses' Union of Employees for the year ended 30 June 2009 has been independently audited by BDO Kendalls.
The audit has been conducted in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards. to provide reasonable assurance as to whether the financial report is free of material misstatement.
In BDO Kendall's opinion:
- the organisation has kept satisfactory accounting records for the financial period ended 30 June 2009, including records of:
- the sources and nature of the organisations' income including membership subscriptions and other income from members; and
- the nature of and reasons for the organisations' expenditure;
- the financial report for the period ended 30 June 2009 is properly drawn up to give a true and fair view of the organisations':
- financial affairs as at the end of the year; and
- the income and expenditure and surplus or deficit for the year
- the financial report has bee prepared in accordance with the Industrial Relations Act 1999, Australian Accounting Standards and other mandatory professional reporting requirements.
