The QNU Connect call centre is the first point of contact for members seeking information from our Union.
All QNU Connect officals, except the supervisor, are nurses and they can help members with a range of enquiries about issues as broad as wages and working conditions, professional responsibilities and workloads, grievance procedures, education, training and professional development, and even legal matters and workers’ compensation.
All member calls for information and advice should first go through QNU Connect, unless there is an existing issue for which a specific official has responsibility. If the matter requires progression, staff in QNU Connect can provide advice on how to proceed.
QNU Connect is open between 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Outside these hours please leave a message with your name, membership number, phone number, a clear request for the information or advice you are after, as well as a suitable time your call can be returned.
As officials in QNU Connect take hundreds of calls each week during its operating hours, please leave a message if your call cannot be taken immediately.
