Professional services
The QNU provides members with information, representation and support on professional issues relating to nursing roles, practices, standards and responsibilities.
The QNU employs expert professional officers who contribute to the advancement of professional development of nursing by:
- providing submissions on professional issues to government and other decision makers,
- representing members at various committees, working parties, educational forums or other groups; and
- negotiating around professional issues at senior levels of government departments and with employers.
The Union also conducts professional and legal seminars for members and non-members about topical issues affecting nurses and midwifes and the profession in Queensland. Click here for more on the QNU’s professional and legal seminars.
